Hortus Quasi Conclusus

Right now, a large fabric print of my work is on display in Italy, part of the exhibition Hortus Quasi Conclusus at Orto Botanico G.E. Ghirardi, a botanical garden near Lake Garda. It runs from 8-23 August.

It's a strange and wonderful thing to see the work outdoors, on fabric, in a garden setting rather than a gallery wall, and the curator has been kind enough to pass my details directly to others interested in the work, which has led to some lovely conversations.

This caps off a busy run of shows this year. UHCW's third exhibition of my work lands next month and it also marks the close of the Arts Council funded studio R&D phase behind my Sudden Cardiac Art project. More on what's next for that soon.

If you're near Lake Garda before 23 August, I'd love for you to see it in person. Otherwise, hit reply and let me know. I'm always glad to hear what part of the work resonates most.
